Under the responsibility of the Global Operation Director, **the Industrial Director (f/m) will define and implement the global industrial strategy**:

- **Drive innovation through Identification, Implementation and Standardization of State of the Art technologies, processes and systems in order to continuously improve production performance and quality.** This covers mainly:

- Manufacturing Processes: SMT, Assembly, Programing, Test and Manufacturing Execution Systems.
- Automation, Augmented reality, Industrial Internet of Things and Smart Sensing.
- Data management, analytics and prediction.
- DFM (Design for manufacturing), DFT (Design For test) and MPS (Manufacturing process Specifications).
- Cybersecurity product/process in operatio
- **Optimize Capex efficiency**:

- Standardize “1Product 1Process” equipment designs and specifications to improve flexibility, capability and re-usability, including multi-products generations compatibility.
- Approve Capex and, together with Indirect Purchasing teams, qualify and select equipment suppliers
- Your Responsibilities_:

- Manage the Process Development Authorities (PDA) team in charge of:

- SMT lines processes: laser, printing, placement, reflow, AOI/SPI/X-Ray and handling. PCB design and Strain management (DFM).
- Assembly lines: Concept, design, development (Manual, Conveyor, Dial-table, mini AMR...) and implementation. Processes: Milling, press-fit, placement, screwing/sealing/laser/heat-staking, vision... PLC programming. (Strong link with R&D through DFM and MPS.)
- Product programing and Tests: Concepts, technologies, design and implementation. (Strong link with R&D through DFT.)
- Automation: Robots, Cobots, Smarts sensing, IOT and IIOT, AMR
- Industrial Cybersecurity: implementation and robustness for product/process in production
- MES and digital transformation: Traceability, Lean2lean, Data warehouse, Data analytics, Augmented Reality, predictive maintenance, remote assistance...
- Lead Capex forecast, process and tools : Review and optimize forecasted capex to achieve company cash objectives, by integrating volumes and capacity, production performance and improvement targets, global optimization and standardization, re-use and multi-products compatibility
- Actively work in good cooperation with Engineering, Process Engineering, New Product Introduction and Veoneer Excellence System (VES) teams. When appropriate, set-up workshops for new products/process development.
- Your Profile_:

- Graduate engineer with preferably a technical degree in Mechanics / Mechanical engineering / Electronics.

Senior experience (+15y) in Manufacturing, in relation with electronics production or at key equipment supplier (plant or operation manager, process engineering manager...)

Technical expertise for Electronics processes

Fluent English

Team builder, force of proposal, diplomat, ability to federate and convince

Regular international business trips to be expected
