**Your missions/ What you'll do ?**

This role is to assist the Murex Legal Department to provide legal support to the corporate services and commercial divisions of the worldwide Murex group (business development, procurement, finance, etc.), with a particular focus on inbound licensing of software products and data and connectivity agreements that are strategic for Murex’s activities, together with assistance on outbound licensing and general corporate matters.

Responsibilities will include in particular:

- Assisting the Co-Head of Legal in negotiating and drafting inbound software license agreements, interface development agreements, data licensing agreements and other IT service agreements with software vendors, connectivity partners, cloud or hosting service providers, financial data providers and other IT service providers in close coordination with the procurement department and Murex management.
- Assisting the Co-Head of Legal on various legal matters, including corporate, regulatory matters, and intellectual property law matters and advising procurement, finance and human resources departments across the Murex group.
- Supporting the corporate governance and compliance of Group entities in EMEA.

**Your profile/Who you are ?**

Qualification as a lawyer in the UK, Ireland or in France (LLB, JD or equivalent from a reputable law school).

English and French

Significant experience in a law firm setting and/or in an in-house position drafting and/or negotiating procurement contracts

Excellent legal drafting and analytical skills and ability to synthetize information and communicate clearly and effectively with internal stakeholders (including non-lawyers and senior management).

Ability to build and maintain an effective work relationship with all colleagues.

Ability to manage timelines, including prioritization of the most important tasks, and enlisting assistance from other colleagues (including outside the legal department) where required.

Ability to work in an international, cross-border environment and team spirit.

Good knowledge of contract and commercial law generally.
