Accountant

DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Finance team as an Accountant for our French scope reporting directly to our Head of Accounting France. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to challenges in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
You will play a central role in structuring our accounting function to ensure rigorous and autonomous management of our accounts.
Role and Responsibilities
**Daily Accounting Management**:
Record daily accounting and analytical operations (vendors, fixed assets, banks) using Netsuite, with most processes already automated;
Review, track, and process vendor bills and expense reports;
Supervise customer invoicing managed through Chargebee.
**Bank Management**:
Perform monthly bank reconciliations;
Monitor, analyze and reconcile financial flows (Banks, PSPs, Credit cards).
Monthly and Annual closings
Analyze accounts and prepare financial reports;
Manage intercompany transactions and internal re-invoicing;
Contribute to accounting closings in collaboration with the Finance team (FP&A and Finance Manager): accrual entries (PCA, CCA, FNP, ICNE, D&A), preparation of working files, etc.
Tax Declarations
Assist with VAT declarations and other tax obligations.
**Process Controls and Improvements**:
**Validate and monitor existing financial flows, including**:
Automated client invoicing via Chargebee;
Payment flows through service providers (PSPs);
order to cash processes (dunning outsourced).
**Process Controls and Improvements**:
Contribute to documenting current and future financial processes;
Participate in the digital filing and archiving of accounting records.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
**What We Are Looking For**:
Someone who is willing to learn and not afraid of a challenge
Someone who is comfortable working with tools and Excel & Google Sheets: proficiency of designing and process knowledge
Someone whit a degree in accounting (Bac +2 at least, BTS, DCG or equivalent) with 5 years of professional experience with expertise in French GAAP
Someone who is able to communicate comfortably in English and French, both written and oral
Someone who enjoys working in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment

You have previous experience working in accounting firm and in a start-up environment
You have a passion for restaurants and the hospitality industry
**You have previous experience using the following tools**: Netsuite, Chargebee, Adyen, GoCardless.
