ChandlerKBS is one of the leading consultancies for project and cost management in the construction and real estate sector. We are represented throughout Europe and actively work especially on hospitality projects in over 16 countries.
As part of our expansion on a national and international level, we are looking for talented and motivated professionals to join our team. The role will be based in our Paris office with a flexible hybrid working approach.
Tasks
**Your tasks**:
- Provide support for day to day delivery responsibility for projects and programmes of work and demonstrate the ability to take on tasks with mínimal supervision.
- Prepare budget estimates, cost plans and client reports.
- Support evaluation of tenders, contractor selection and contract documentation.
- Contract administration including preparation of valuations, forecasts, cost reports and attendance at project meetings.
- Preparation of bills of quantities, schedules of rates, or other methods of work evaluation.
- Deliver all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner to a high standard of quality
- Undertake service delivery is in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Practice, particularly Health and Safety and Quality Assurance.
- Provide services in compliance with the client's corporate governance procedures where applicable.
- Filing of project correspondence in accordance with requirements.
- Working time: 35h / week
**Requirements**:
- Ideally degree qualified: construction, cost management, engineering, quantity surveying or other RICS accredited degree.
- Good interpersonal skills with both client and staff.
- Good analytical skills, sound judgement and an aptitude for forward planning.
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills in English and French.
- Basic pre and post contract technical cost management skills.
- A similar experience of minimum 3 years in a similar role
- Self-initiated and independent working style, high level of commitment and enjoy working in a team
- Organisational talent with a fast, precise, and structured way of working
- Very good and experienced handling of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
