The Pricing team at Algolia has a unique opportunity to shape the growth trajectory by defining and executing our Product & GTM pricing and monetization strategy. We are rapidly expanding into new products, markets and customer segments and the Pricing team will be playing a critical role in shaping the pricing & monetization strategy in all these new growth areas. As part of the pricing team, you will work closely with the product managers, sales, marketing, finance and customer success teams to drive tangible results and have a big impact on the ARR for Algolia. This position will report directly to the VP of Pricing & Monetization in the Product organization.
**Your role will consist of**:
- Driving the strategy and execution of the overall sales-led commit structures that is used by global sales teams
- Develop key pricing business standards & policies and around international pricing, co-terms, overages, billing models and migrations
- Establish a Voice of the Seller (internal NPS) forum to inform and influence new Pricing & Packaging / business standards across Product and Sales.
- Lead the governance, execution and implementation of cross function pricing & monetization decisions
- Enabling sales teams on pricing & packaging through training sessions, value proposition talk tracks
- Define and own the framework for creating, maintaining SKUs / Billable items
- Developing key pricing KPIs and analytics
**You might be a fit if you have**:
- 5+ years of experience in business / GTM strategy, consulting with 2+ years in pricing & monetization strategy or equivalent at a Software company
- Experience in developing pricing policies and standards in enterprise software companies
- Managed cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment and leading execution of pricing or GTM proposals
- Experience at our current stage and beyond (over 10,000 customers, $50-300M ARR range, high growth, lots of change and building internal infrastructure).
- Experience in partnering with Sales on strategic deal structuring and knowledge of quote to bill systems and processes
