DAS is seeking a capable and career-oriented Project Manager/Engineer to join our team. This is a long-standing position with immediate requirements to travel to France on a bimonthly basis.

**Job Functions and Responsibilities**
- Lead the planning and implementation of assigned projects. Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, conferring with management
- Plan, track, and report project deliverables from receipt of customer purchase order to project close out.
- Manage projects throughout whilst ensuring scope, strategy, budget, and timeline expectations
- Assist with the installation of purchased products on client sites. Troubleshoot and solves issues, challenges, or problems regarding installation, in consultation with the Manager of Field operations and appropriate Engineer(s).
- Effectively manage changes to project scope(s) and/or objective(s) to the client and to the project team
- Determine resource requirements including material and manpower to deliver projects and ensure this is shared with management for planning purposes.
- Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating project phases and finding solutions to project issues
- Identify, track, manage and mitigate risks on client specific work scopes and escalate any issues when necessary to minimize impact
- Where project control is in jeopardy, create contingency plans with appropriate assistance from key team members and implement a revised project schedule in a timely manner
- Conduct customer visits, site surveys and demonstrations when required
- Use sound judgment in all project communication and ensure that the team, client, and management are apprised of project activities in a timely manner
- Define skill sets (competencies) required for projects based on project specifications and requirements
- Determine resource requirements of projects, based on project specifications
- Liaise with field personnel to ensure understanding of client and project requirements and provide the necessary field documentation
- Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationship and where possible set up project close out meetings to gather any feed-back and ensue lessons learned are communicated
- International travel when required.
- Make a proactive contribution to the successful implementation and maintenance of Health, Safety & Environmental policies, and processes
- Make a proactive contribution to the successful implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System
**Job-Related Employment Requirements**
- Educational_
- 3-5 years project management experience
- Bilingual (English and French)
- PMP certification is an asset
- Experience with project management software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Decision-making and leadership capabilities
- Conflict resolution experience
- Ability to work under pressure and without supervision.
