**Job Description Summary**: The IGS life cycle director serves as the primary Global Service representative to the product team throughout the complete product lifecycle. Leads the development of service strategies that enable growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction, drives Design for Customer Service in new product introductions, and manages all aspects of the installed base (cost to serve, quality, VCP, end of service support). Works closely with Segment Leaders, Engineering, Regions, and other cross-functional leaders to deliver exceptional customer experiences and meet Service requirements. Reports directly to VP AVS Global service.

**Essential Responsibilities**
- Defines and facilitates the execution of the IGS service business strategy from NPIs to execution and through the lifecycle of our IGS products.
- Lead Lifecycle commercial strategy and tactical activities and the Service Operations team for IGS, working closely with the Product Management, Regional Service and Regional Sales leaders in establishing and executing on the services roadmap as a member of the Segment General Manager’s staff.
- Represents IGS within the global AVS service staff
- Partner with Product Managers, Program team, Service Regions Leaders, Digital Services Technology, Service Functional Teams, and Service Marketing to ensure that a cohesive Service strategy flows into segment programs throughout the product life cycle
- Collaborate with the cross-functional team to develop value propositions for service and DFx (Reliability, Workflow, Training, Installation, Services, and Repair/Refurb) features
- Drive Service design inputs, assess external evaluation and initial production results, and ensure service readiness based on regional inputs for product launch
- Monitor and ensure adequate service delivery and commercial organizations in regions, working closely with regional service leadership. Enable cross-regions best practice sharing.
- Collaborate with service regions to ensure compliant, save and efficient service delivery This includes Contract Capture Rate and Service Revenue targets, while working with the team to ensure the Lifecycle Service operations deliverables with regards to NPI and EOL PRD milestones, Service VCP activities, Installation / Warranty / Contract Cost-to-Serve targets and other operational communication are completed in partnership with the Product, Service and Regional Service teams
- Establish close partnership with cross-functional teams equipment business to design service solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
- Represent as a product line owner on multi-functional program teams, which could include marketing, sales, operations, engineering, and services teams, while ensuring compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure customer focus in product line lifecycle development plans and value propositions by establishing relationships with customers as required and ensuring the “voice of the customer” is reflected in work efforts.
- Defining and leading appropriate market segmentation and positioning strategies for the assigned product lines.
- Driving the product lines to meet the needs of the market. Responsible for supporting development of marketing plan, strategy and championing execution of the product roadmaps.
**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
- 8 years’ experience in product management, product marketing, commercial marketing or related field
- Product Management/Marketing expertise, including market trends/analysis, NPI process, product roadmap development, product life-cycle management,
- Healthcare product/industry/technical acumen
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, experience in executive level presentations
- Strong analytical and process skills
- Demonstrable project management skills
- Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment
- Willingness to travel 10-30%
