Lounge Assistant

As part of our development, we are looking for several Lounge Assistant profiles (M/F) to form a tax refund team within an emblematic Parisian department store.

**Nature and purpose of the position**

As an ambassador for Global Blue's tax refund and issuance services, as part of the prestigious Parisian department store Printemps Haussmann, the Lounge Assistant welcomes and accompanies international tourist customers throughout their tax refund process in order to guarantee a simple, fluid and successful customer experience, while respecting the standards and business processes of tax refund.

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Customer service
- You ensure an optimal level of attention to tourists
- You provide the explanations and details necessary to carry out the tax refund process in accordance with the regulations
- You ensure an excellent experience for VIP customers

2. Issuance and Refund of Tax Refund Forms
- You issue tax refund slips, on fixed workstations or tablets, or by assisting tourist customers in their procedures at kiosks for purchases made within Printemps Haussmann
- You process refunds in cash or other payment methods from slips issued within the Printemps store and issued by other Global Blue affiliated stores
- You will ensure that you comply with Global Blue's internal guidelines and the contractual conditions established between Global Blue and Printemps
- You assist tourists by providing them with information on the issuance, customs validation and refund process 3. Cash management operations
- You ensure that the cash kiosks are stocked daily
- You report any filling incident to your hierarchy
- You ensure an efficient and rigorous management of tourist cash refunds in accordance with Global Blue's rules and procedures
- You will participate in the species inventories according to the schedule of the Global Blue Group's Finance Department

4. Compliance & Fraud Prevention
- As a field agent, you actively participate in the fight against fraud: in addition to the technical support put in place, you observe and report any suspicious behavior to your supervisor or manager

5. Commercial
- You encourage the respending of the tax refund in the Printemps Haussmann store by promoting current marketing campaigns (e.g. promotion on certain brands, discount coupons, etc.)
- You are rewarded for your personal results in achieving the objectives mentioned above

**Education and experience**
- Experience in direct customer service: reception/sales in stores, in department stores, flight attendants, hotels, concierge...
- A fluent level of English and French is essential, plus another mother tongue (Russian / Chinese / Arabic / Portuguese / Turkish / Korean / Japanese...)
- Experience in cash management (e.g. cash receipts for sale) o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, service orientation
- Ability to communicate, personal qualities of pro-active communication with customers, store staff o Excellent customer service, problem solving
- Ability to work in a team

**Specific skills and competencies**
- You are adaptable and proactive, solution-oriented
- You have good organizational skills and are able to work independently following the guidelines given
- You thrive in a multicultural team, you are flexible in your approach to cultural differences and working methods
- You have a good knowledge of MS Office products
- You are dynamic, empathetic

**Computer tools**:

- Fluency with technical tools and with Microsoft suite pack office

**Compensation and internal benefits**
- Fixed remuneration - 28 to 30k€ gross per year depending on profile and experience + language spoken
- 10% bonus on objectives (variable according to annual personal performance)
- Global Blue's profit sharing (approx. 1 month's salary)
- 14 RTT per calendar year (in addition to the 25 CP)
