Ankorstore was founded in 2019 to build a platform that enables independent shops and brands to connect and thrive. As a result, we became a wholesale marketplace that provides the tools these entrepreneurs need to compete against e-commerce giants.
We work with a network of independent retailers all across Europe, including concept stores, design shops, boutiques, fine food stores and other retailers. Brands retain complete control over which retailers they choose and who they sell to.
We support businesses and local economies, not corporations, employing communities of creative people who value craftsmanship over mass production and mass-market deals.
Only two years after our successful launch, we gathered 300,000 retailers and 30,000 brands across Europe and reached unicorn status with a valuation of €1.75 billion.
In less than three years, we grew to a company of 600+ employees of 45+ nationalities and six offices across five countries (France, the UK, Spain, Italy, and Germany).
**Duration : 4 to 6 months**
**About your role**:
As a Fraud and payment intern, you will be part of a small, international and friendly Fraud and payment team.
Our team is located all over Europe:
- Paris
- London
- Barcelona
You will help both Payment and Fraud teams to provide our brands & retailers with a great experience.
Your job will be to monitor the financial life of orders placed on the ANKORSTORE website:
**Step 1: guarantee the quality of retailers who order from the brands**
- control of the real existence of retailers
- control of the authenticity of the documents provided
- anti-fraud control, you will use highest market standards solution : Ravelin
- help identify fraudulent activities through our marketplace
**Step 2: answer financial questions from retailers**
- terms of payment
- credit limit
- link with our financial partners : Stripe & Hokodo
- management of good retailers
**Step 3: ensure the collection of unpaid claims**
- telephone collection
- setting up a payment plan
- search publicly-available databases to track down defaulters
- Interaction with an international debt collection agency
You will propose your ideas to improve our processes. As such, you have an interest in automation and process simplification.
You will report directly to a Senior Financial Operation Associate at ANKORSTORE and you will be in contact with other teams: accounting team, customer service, brand management, shipping team and with our external financial partners.

- You are fluent in English
- You are studying for a master degree
- Demonstrate maturity and professionalism
- Ability to work well independently but also working alongside team members
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Strong knowledge of Gsheet and Excel
- You show an interest for finance
