**We are looking for a Logistics Compound manager to join our team**
Our MATERI’ACT** **activity is looking for a Logistics Compound manager for its site based in Lyon.
The primary responsibility of the Compounds Logistics Manager consists in developing and managing supply chain and Logistics activities of the Compounds Product Line. The incumbent will operate in constant interaction with the Manufacturing, P/L and Sales stakeholders.
**Main missions of the role**
- Define and ensure adoption of Logistics standards for MATERI’ACT material supply business
- Monitor Logistics processes: supervise day to day activities, prepare and propose improvement plans for the Sales and Operations Plans
- Take responsibility of the Master Scheduling Plan (PDP)
- Improve performance and relationships of suppliers and Logistics partners.
- Manage day to day activities, anticipate customer requirements and maintain good relationships with customers
- Monitor Logistics performance and implement necessary improvement actions in coordination with other functions
- Establish the Logistics team and set Logistics objectives
**Required qualifications**
- Master's Degree: Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Operations or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years of prior experience in combination of Logistics, Supply Chain, Logistics in the Material industry, **ideally Polymer or Chemicals**:
- Strong knowledge of SAP ERP and related management tools
- Fluent in English
- Strong communication, analytical skills and bias for actions
- Team player - ability to work and lead in a matrix organization
- Successfully manages through ambiguous situations
