**Context**:
Axens Project Operations Business Division (POP) mission is to provide advanced technologies, basic engineering design, modular units design and technical services to its customers. The Process Department work on basic engineering projects and Modular Units Projects development for our customers but also on new technologies development.
In order to improve one of our technologies, we are looking for an intern to work on simulation studies.
**Tasks and activities**:
Assigned to the Process Licensing department of Rueil-Malmaison, you will be responsible for the development of a reference simulation file for Benzene saturation technology. Process Engineers use reference simulation to initiate simulation work for the new project, and issue Heat & Mass Balance as basis for the Process Book development.
The aim of this internship is to improve the current reference simulation, in particular to speed up the convergence process.
Your main activities will be:
- Standardization of simulation & pressure profile (work on excel and process flow diagram)
- Optimization of convergence loops & test on several real study cases
- Writing of end user guidelines
- Preparation of a checking file for the simulation
The trainee will be integrated in operational teams in a multicultural environment.
**Profil**:
- Currently in your last year of engineer school specialized in Process/Chemical Engineering
- you are looking for a 6 months internship.
- You are proactive and autonomous, interested in process simulation tasks, familiar with ProII simulation software and Excel.
- A good level of English is mandatory.
