**Context**:
Axens Project Operations Business Division (POP) mission is to provide advanced technologies, basic engineering design, modular units design and technical services to its customers.
We are looking for an intern for the POP Process Department.
In the Process Department we work on basic engineering projects and Modular Units Projects development for our customers but also on new technologies development.
**Tasks and activities**:
AXENS is the world leader in the field of light cuts selective hydrogenations with more than 200 references. AXENS - as a technology Licensor and Basic Engineering company - develop Process Design Packages of Selective Hydrogenation Units tailor made to the needs of their Clients.
In order to improve the dynamic modelling of light cuts behavior during depressurization phase, a study has to be carried out to validate a new process tool - the objectives of the training are
- Perform dynamic simulation of LPG depressurization phenomenon with Hysys software
- Analyze the results - compare them to results from Axens in-house tool
- Support Process Team to confirm the proper calculation methodology to be applied
- Summarize all the work performed in a memorandum.
**Profile**:
- Currently in your second year of engineer school specialized in Process/Chemical Engineering
- You are looking for a 3 months internship.
- You are proactive and autonomous, interested in process simulation tasks, familiar with ProII. simulation software and Excel.
- A good level of English is mandatory.
