**Role & Responsibilities**:
As an **Associate Director APAC Presales** you work closely with the regional sales team to qualify and develop strategic and complex sales opportunities for existing customers, new prospects and new market segments.

You are also responsible for providing demonstrations of the Broadpeak solutions to customers in the APAC region. This includes installing, diagnosing, troubleshooting and debugging complex system problems on Proof-of-Concepts involving Broadpeak and associated equipment. It can happen on customers premises, on show floors or directly in the cloud.

The role requires close liaison with external customers, partners and with specialists in the Broadpeak internal Engineering, Operations, Sales and Marketing departments. You need to be sufficiently mobile to be able to support activities within APAC region.

Taking care on post-sales activities is part of the tasks which enter in the Pre-Sales role. The Pre-Sales is the solution owner when the project starts, and the Solution Architect when the customer is in production.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Support Sales by interfacing with existing and prospective customers to determine their technical requirements and to discuss and develop complex technical solutions.
- Respond on time and accurately to customer questions, RFIs and RFPs and develop strong relationships with key technical players in the account.
- Support Sales activities on a technical level at exhibitions and conferences. This includes assisting with planning and the setup and presenting of demonstrations.

In coordination with Sales and Professional Services, make sure that, for each project signed, the handover with the Operations team is done without any technical uncertainties.
- Support Operations team in the full understanding of the ecosystem designed to answer the customer expectations from a solution architect point of view.
- Take ownership and act as the interface between the Customer and Broadpeak functional departments to resolve complex technical sales issues.
- Provide feedback from customers to Broadpeak Marketing and Engineering departments to articulate the new product feature requirements.
- Assists with business development efforts and strategic relationships.

Prepare and deliver detailed product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospect customers and partners for various market segments

**Profile required** Requirements**:
**University degree in computer science, electronic engineering or telecommunications related field.**

**Minimum of 5-10 years relevant and progressive experience with a proven track record in complex software, services and solution selling environment.**
- Knowledge and experience in the Broadcast and /or Telco markets is desirable.
- Significant expertise in the following areas is desirable:

- Content Delivery Networks
- Streaming video technologies
- IPTV, Cable TV & OTT TV system architectures
- Content management systems
- Video Encoding technologies
- OTT ad insertion
- Data Analytics
- Excellent writing ability and presentation skills.
- Strong business orientation, analysis/problem solving, negotiation and collaboration skills.

Languages**:English and Mandarin**.

Cantonese is a plus
