**Harmonic is looking for its new **Vulnerability Management Engineer****

**Role summary**

The vulnerability engineer designs and configures vulnerability management solutions on various information technologies and platforms, automates vulnerability data processing and reporting, performs technical threat/risk and vulnerability assessments, creates customized vulnerabilities notifications and other advisories to our clients and supports operational teams in various vulnerability remediation and management activities.

**Qualifications**

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years of experience, dedicated to vulnerability management.
- Application pentest experience
- Working knowledge of security principles, techniques, and technologies
- Good understanding of network protocols, design, and security operations in complete infrastructure landscape (NetSec, Infra)
- Strong analytical skills and efficient problem solving
- Experience with scripting, g. in Python, Powershell

**Technical S**kills**
- Certifications from vulnerability management areas / tools
- Knowledge of main vulnerability analysis platforms of the market (Rapid 7, Qualys) / certification is a plus
- Knowledge of Security standards (CIS, ISO27k), CVE path publications
- Security hardening and vulnerability management techniques (pentests, system hardening techniques, patch management, vulnerability assessments)
- Ability to design and document security operational procedures

**Other** Skills**
- Ability to report progress regularly to management
- Project management skills
- Work in autonomy with excellent communication skills
- Excellent English spoken / read / write (TOEIC / TOEFL test passed)
- Knowledge of ITIL in particular change / event and security management is a plus
