Founded in April 2015, Pico is a leading VR company with independent innovation and R&D capabilities, focusing on VR all-in-one technology. Pico is committed to offering immersive and interactive VR experiences, creating the most accessible VR ecosytem in the world with gaming, fitness, social, and video as key content areas.
**Responsibilities**:
- Build EU local business development music and entertainment strategy to drive business engagement growth with full ownership from ideation to achievement
- Develop business plans, partner and market insights, and analyze their effectiveness
- Responsible to source, connect, identify business opportunities and negotiate with producers, app developers in the social interaction space including music, entertainment and lifestyle for the EU market
- Prepare valuation analysis (model building, scenario testing) to support content deal decisions and negotiations
- You will manage the partnership process from start to finish, from selecting the teams and content we work with, negotiating licensing deals, managing the QA and localization, ensuring milestone dates are met, handling invoices, coordinating the store release, and providing post launch support.
- You will be the main point of contact between partner dev teams and the many functions at ByteDance.
- BA/BS degree and working knowledge of business-related fields required
- 7+ years experience in business development, negotiation, consulting, preferably in the content space
- Excellent understanding of the local entertainment industry and the social VR landscape
- Extensive and meaningful network with key partners in EU, proven ability to identify early opportunities and drive decision-making process across functional teams, lead and execute license or investment deals
- Excellent communication skills, strong analytical thinking, puzzle-solver and go-getter
- Fluent level of English and (French, German or Spanish is preferred).
