The Project Operations Business Division is in charge of producing process design packages, proprietary and automation equipment, modular units and process furnaces, from design to start-up, for refineries, petrochemical and industrial sites of our customers, on the group's traditional technologies as well as on technologies linked to the energy transition. Its objective is to ensure quality projects, respecting costs and schedules and preserving the safety of all.

As part of the development of its Automation & System activity, the Project Operations Business Division needs to strengthen its teams and is looking for one Automation & System Project Manager (M/F).

Within the projects department of BD POP (Project operations), the Project Manager of the System & Automation group has the main missions:

- To manage the execution of System & Automation projects to the Customer's satisfaction, ensuring AXENS' objectives in terms of health and safety at work, quality and environment, while optimizing costs and deadlines
- Provide support in establishing technical offers for System & Automation projects.
- Participates as part of an equipment supply project, in the design, specification and development of automation systems, ensures on-site commissioning and start-up.

You will work within a dynamic team in which the sharing of multidisciplinary technical knowledge and experience acquired in previous positions plays an important role. You will manage multiple projects, from the design of systems to their start-up with our international clients.

This job involves international travel abroad.

Your main tasks will be as follows:

- Initiate, plan and execute the project in accordance with the project management procedures in force in the department.
- Be the main contact for the Customer on all technical and contractual matters until delivery.
- Manage and coordinate the teams mobilized on the project internally and/or externally.
- Ensure contractual management of the Customer order.
- Ensure the communication of reliable and accurate financial forecasts.
- Ensure the issuance of invoices according to the terms of the order.
- Ensure or anticipate contractual delivery dates.
- Provide support and ensure the proper execution and closing of supplier orders.
- Ensure the proper organization of Construction, commissioning and Start Up assistance missions.
- Ensure good coordination with the different Business Division and Partner.
- Provide regular feedback to the department heads (hierarchical managers of employees).
- Develop automation systems by writing functional analyses, programming in various languages, configuring functionalities.

**KNOWLEDGE AND REQUIRED LEVEL**

- You are a confirmed Engineer in Automation and/or Industrial IT, with successful experience as Project Manager or Project Engineer and with autonomy of action compatible with the importance of the projects entrusted.
- You have a real appetite for the IT field, you have solid knowledge of C, C++, C#,.Net programming and also a good knowledge of the Windows environment.
- Ideally you have knowledge of Siemens S7, Schneider Electric, Allan Bradley Rockwell systems
- Experience in process start-up will be highly appreciated.
- Knowledge of engineering and safety standards is appreciated.
- A good level in English and French, both written and spoken, is essential.
