Sales Manager, Events Europe

Working as part of the Events Leadership team for Europe, you will be responsible for leading, managing and coaching the event sector sales team located across Europe to grow the Europe Events sector Revenue. You will create and execute sales strategies, optimise market penetration, manage customer accounts, and ensure contract profitability by means of optimising pricing strategies. Working alongside the General Manager, AES (Europe) you will be responsible for developing the growth strategy for subsectors, introduction of new technology, and identification and securing of target accounts and major events.

**Profile**:
Preferably Degree qualified (MBA would be advantageous)
Experience leading and managing a sales team (5 or more people) to be high-performing and consistently achieve targets is highly desirable. Experience managing a remote team, across different geographies is advantageous.
Strategic focus; highly financially and commercially aware. Track record of setting and achieving profitable sales revenues
Three years or more experience in sales in international companie in an event services environment - ideallly across Europe.
Previous experience in sales in power generation and/or TC rental industry is preferable. Otherise proven experience in short cycle sales (24/7 technical services).
Excellent relationships management skills and negotiator
Flexibility to adapt to changing or ugent customer demands and priorities, resolve problems and to lead change within team.
Excellent standard of English language comprehension, oral and written skills. Preferably also fluent in a second European language.
Must hold a full valid European driving licence
Willing and able to travel extensively within Europe
