**About EIT Manufacturing**:
**Regional Innovation Officer** **- EIT Manufacturing**

Full-time position at the EIT Manufacturing Headquarter in Paris (Remote work possible)

**About the position**:
The selected applicant will be responsible for successfully implementing projects funded by Horizon Europe, other European funding schemes that EIT Manufacturing participates and supporting in additional projects under the Corporate Affairs and Strategic Initiatives Unit.

He/she will report to the Senior Director of Corporate Affairs & Strategic Initiatives or to a relevant delegate that the Director will indicate.

**Missions and key Accountabilities**:

- Promote EIT Manufacturing's involvement in RIS and relevant regions of interest,
- Responsible of the managing, development, monitoring and implementation of Strategic and Regional Initiatives related to Manufacturing sector activities. For example - but not restricted to -coordination of EIT RIS HUBs network, EIT Community RIS Hubs, or similar networks, ensuring effective collaboration.
- Community building across RIS countries, engaging stakeholders from academia, industry, public authorities and the innovation ecosystem.
- Scouting for opportunities for EU/national/local public funding sources related to Regional Initiatives.
- Writing and coordination of collaborative consortia and proposals.
- Development of services related to Regional Initiatives and linked to Manufacturing sector.
- Take appropriate actions and measures to achieve the objectives and targets (e.g. KPIs) of the implemented projects.
- Prepare all projects documentation (deliverables, handbooks, tutorials, performance and cost reporting, KPIs, etc).
- Organize workshops, meetings, and dissemination events linked to the scope of the projects.
- Work closely with the EIT Manufacturing’s Senior Director of Corporate Affairs & Strategic Initiatives and EU Projects and Strategic Initiatives Officers/Managers and RIS Impact and Strategy Manager, with partners and/or external stakeholders and outline strategies to exploit the results.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor/master’s degree. University degree in relevant discipline and/or equivalent professional experience/qualifications. PhD would be a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience on managing European & National funded projects and proposals preparation.
- Previous experience with manufacturing industry and stakeholders is a plus.
- Excellent English language proficiency in both verbal and written communication.

**Skills and expertise**:

- Proven track record in project management.
- Experience in establishing collaborations with regional authorities and in Regional Initiatives.
- Good knowledge of regional and national programmes, instruments and strategies.
- Experience in European funded programmes, EU Affairs and Strategic Initiatives will be a plus.
- Experience in relevant fields such as ecosystem creation, acceleration programmes, entrepreneurship, engagement of individuals for innovation, incubation, business creation, start-up training, marketing, etc, will be positively evaluated.
- Process-oriented with attention to detail and the ability to best combine analytical thinking with creativity.
- A team player who understands the importance of teamwork in an international environment.
- Experience in dealing with representatives at all levels in academia, industry, research.
- Willingness to travel regularly to locations across Europe.
- Organized, proactive, service-oriented, capable of multitasking.
- Independent and trustworthy.
