You will contribute to the development of La Samaritaine department store.

**Job description**

Working as part of the DFS Europe & Middle East Finance Department and in liaison with the accounting teams in Singapore,

you will assist our local accounting team in their day-to-day tasks.

This internship will enable you to gain initial experience in accounting within a department store Finance Department.

Located in the heart of Paris, this internship is available from January 2025 for a period of 6 months.

**Your responsibilities**:

- You will participate in the supplier accounting process, monitoring invoice receipts and payments,
- You will be in contact with our suppliers to help them register on our platform,
- You are in charge of calculating re-invoicing to our partners,
- You take part in monthly closing meetings, checking month-end entries and the closing process in general,
- You reconcile payments received from customers with the corresponding sales, in liaison with our store teams,
- You support the team on tax issues and local tax calculations,
- In a complex and fast-changing environment, you may be called upon to work on other ad hoc or temporary assignments.

**Profile**
- Higher education in accounting/auditing/finance (bac +3/+4)
- Fluent English
- Proficiency in Pack Office, particularly Excel
- Organized, rigorous and proactive
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment
