With decades of experience in retail and building marketplaces, in 2019 the Ankorstore founding team knew it was time to create a global wholesale solution - one that swings the balance in favour of independents and restores retail to its natural order

**The team**
Logistics is at the heart of Ankorstore's unique value proposition. Logistics and its daily execution is critical and often not well mastered enough by both retailers and brands. Independent retailers do not enjoy convenience and good services linked to supply Chain/logistics (speed, reliability of deliveries, restocking, inventory management,...) whilst Brands report juggling various operational activities and fail at optimizing costs. This leaves space for a state of the art Logistics proposition carried by Ankorstore to solve this problem, bring services & economy of scales to this ecosystem, set new standards within the B2B industry whilst generating operational margin for Ankorstore.
From an operational standpoint,we aim at helping brands ship their orders seamlessly by partnering with the most relevant logistics partners. We help retailers with outstanding delivery experience, fast and reliable resolution experience when issue occurs and smart inventory management services.
This is a unique opportunity to have a meaningful impact on our customers and to get a 360 view of the e-commerce BtoB supply chain (transportation, fulfilment, cross-border shipping).
Before summer 2022, the products were all stored and prepared at the brand’s premises. In order to reach new delivery service levels while decreasing our costs, we just rolled out our Fulfilment offer, where Ankorstore stores products and prepares orders on behalf of the brand. Our first Fulfilment Centre opened beginning of July 2022, and is currently ramping as we are onboarding new brands.
**7-Months CDD/fixed-term contract**
**Main responsibilities**
Working directly with the Fulfillment Manager, responsibilities include:
- ** Pain points analysis**: on your defined scope, proactively find out areas for improvement through data analysis, internal teams feedback or customer feedback.
- ** Fulfillment processes design**: define and formalise new or upgraded fulfillment processes (linked to order management, inventory management, invoicing, customer service,...). Validate these processes by formalising the analysis and findings as well as proposed action plan for implementation and result tracking.
- ** Fulfillment processes implementation**: train the teams impacted and monitor the adoption and results of the defined processes.
- ** Continuous process improvement**: close the loop by tracking and analysing the outcomes, and move the needle further with a continuous improvement methodology and mindset.
You will be able to interact with most of the services within Ankorstore: the whole Logistics team, Product & Tech team, Customer Experience, Sales, Finance, Legal, etc
This is a unique opportunity to be part of one of the most strategic projects for Ankorstore
- it is basically a start up within the start up
**Requirements**:
- 3 years of experience in Logistics / Supply Chain management projects
- Familiar with Supply Chain Planning processes (Forecasting, Inventory Management,...) and/or Logistics execution (warehouse operations / transportation)
- Familiar with business processes definition / formalisation / implementation
- Familiar with project management : planning, stakeholder management, risk identification and mitigation
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- You are autonomous and resourceful to make things go forward
- You are not afraid to dive into technical topics you are not familiar with
- You are fluent in French and English
Other skills that would add value:
- Familiar with the e-commerce / retail businesses
- Knowledge of SQL and coding basics
