At Echo Analytics, we work with companies from all over the world. We create, combine, and convert thousands of public and private datasets into meaningful geospatial insights and provide the most accurate commercial Point of Interest (POI) product and mobility insights available in Europe.
The opportunity
As a VP of Sales, you will be joining our leadership team with the goal to manage our existing sales team, hiring new members and helping us skyrocket our sales by streamlining sales processes. We are looking for a team player who thrives in a dynamic and rapidly growing environment.
To succeed as a VP of Sales, you should have prior organizational leadership experience, collaborate with team members, and be a strategic problem-solver and an inspiring sales leader.
Tasks
We’re currently growing the team and hiring A-players to help us get to the next level.
**Responsibilities**:
- Recruiting and hiring sales staff and developing training programs.
- Managing sales teams and maintaining sales operations.
- Outlining and managing sales budgets.
- Setting quarterly and annual sales goals and motivating the sales teams to achieve their goals.
- Monitoring the market and competitor products and activities and providing detailed sales forecasting.
- Reviewing customer activity, anticipating consumer needs, and improving customer satisfaction.
- Creating sales reports and providing feedback to the leadership team at company meetings.
- Establishing and maintaining key customer relationships.
- Working with the marketing department to design print and online promotional materials for the company's products and services.
- Identifying where improvements can be made and developing sales plans and strategies to achieve sales goals.
- Working cross-functionally with R&D teams to help identify new product opportunities.
**Requirements**:
- Significant experience (5+years) as VP of Sales, Head of Sales or similar management position
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated skills in relationship building with key decision-makers.
- Strong organisational leadership skills
- Creativity and open-mindedness
- Ability to manage through empathy
- Goal-oriented and result-driven.
- Extensive experience in working with stakeholders to create hiring strategies to develop quality teams
- Complex contract management experience.
- Proven negotiation and closing skills.
- Track record of meeting and exceeding targets
- Customer satisfaction mindset.
- Fluency in English. Additional EU language is a plus.
- Experience in Big Data, GIS, DAAS or Enterprise SAAS will be a plus.
