**ROLE PURPOSE**
- You ensure the functions of Risk Management, Planning/scheduling and business reporting are established in accordance with the contract and internal requirements of Operations. You analyses operational trends (planning and costs), risks and opportunites to support strategic decisions of management. You provide the management team with the data needed to ensure Operations are under control corrective actions are appropriately taken.**ROLE CONTRIBUTION**
- To set-up the Operations Controls functions in line with SBM Internal and contractual requirements, you are to:
- Establish the Operations Controls Plan in accordance with Operations procedures and communicate it to all stakeholders
- Ensure the Operations Controls Team is setup and staffed adequately, and that clear individual roles and responsibilities are defined
- Ensure a clear governance for risks and planning is applied through the OPS organization
- Review and maintain Value Creation governance within Operations through our digital investments
- The measure of your effectiveness in this will be: timely, accurate and transparent reporting on trends and KPIs for decision making of Management- In order that the operations are well controlled, you are to:
- Manage and align Operations controls functions in line with the Operations strategic objectives
- Determine with the various functions the tolerable limits on maintenance and operations strategic trends.
- Follow up trends, report deviations and issue recommendations for management decisions
- Work in close cooperation with the other Operations functions to draw agreed corrective actions where necessary
- Manage the Operations Risk and Opportunities process and report exposure and to recommend contingency levels.
- The measure of your effectiveness in this will be:
- Trending consistency and accuracy.
- Ability to provide the leadership team with leading indicators to support decision making.
- Effective management of risks and opportunities.
- Ensure planning governance is established in all regions.
**Job requirements**
- Education: Master degree in engineering or equivalent
