The **BU Food** is the largest business unit within Trivium and is organized in three sub-segments - Petfood, Fruits & Vegetables and **Soups/Sauces/Ready Meals** with a total turnover about 1 Billion EURO. These segments hold #1/#2 positions in their respective markets across Europe and serve almost all the major global multi-nationals/regional leaders in the market. opportunities with existing and new customers, BU Food is poised to be an exciting business for the years to come. The operations consist of **19 manufacturing locations** across Europe and is supported by a state-of-the-art research center in **France.**

For the BU Food we are looking to recruit a **Sales Manager SSRM France & Export**

Job Title**:Sales Manager SSRM France (Soups, Sauces and Ready-meals) & Export (Middle East)**
Location: France, preferably Paris (flexible in France)
Role Permanent

The role drives the customer P&L and is fully accountable for our SSRM customer Cofigeo, with brands like William Saurin and a total sales responsibility of approximately 35 million Euros annual revenue.
On top, there is a responsibility for a (growing) export business in ends. This role is at the forefront of increasing Trivium market share and sales and ensures there is a healthy innovation pipeline with this customer and prospective new customers in the area to ensure future growth. We are looking for a strong account manager that can lead a relationship with a customer and at the same time is hungry enough to also grow smaller customers at the side.

**Main responsibilities & Activities**:

- Manages the agreed customer base P&L and takes actions to achieve or surpass yearly budget targets.
- Drives revenue & increases market share through relationship development and clear communication of Trivium’s capabilities and value proposition.
- Builds and manages pipeline by developing relationships with new customers and creating customer specific strategies to convert them.
- Builds customer specific account plans (in line with Trivium strategy) with clear actions on how to increase sales and profitability.
- Negotiates and manages customer agreements in line with Trivium’s policy
- Identifies & captures key consumer and market insights, growth opportunities and competitor activities.
- Controls customer inventory levels and overdues to reduce operating working capital
- Provides accurate demand planning forecast to support optimized production planning.
- Actively supports standardization & specification management opportunities with operations.
- Works cross functionally across Trivium’s internal teams to ensure best in class customer service and resolution of customer complaints.
- Actively communicates Trivium’s sustainability efforts and identifies new potential products to convert to metal packaging.

**Key Competencies**:

- Builds a strong understanding of the customer needs, uses this for identifying a solid pipeline of potential customers and finding ways to grow share at existing customers
- Engages the customer by deliberately linking their business priorities to our value proposition
- Strong and proven ability to understand customer buying process and decision criteria
- Building relationships across the account influencing decisionmakers at all levels (up to C-suite) in the customer organization and establishing a connection to their counterparts within the Trivium organization
- Excellent deal-making & negotiation skills; manages the bid process efficiently, sticks to a factbased approach in negotiations, able to make the sale in difficult situations and has distinctive closing skills. Identifies leverage points with
