Within Saint-Gobain “Group Digital & IT” (GDI) organization and reporting to an M&A IT Project Manager, your role is to assist in the following tasks:
- Get trained by the IT M&A team members about the IT M&A Project methodology and tooling
- Update knowledge database
- Collect “best of” documentations with the help of the senior Project Managers
- Compile and organize contents
- Contribute to the creation of the IT M&A Project toolkit
- Collaborate with the IT Office team to update the Intranet page for IT M&A
- Assist in managing the IT M&A community
- Setup Meetings with international IT teams involved in M&A projects
- Collect information and produce reporting on a monthly basis
**Ce poste est-il fait pour vous ?** Qualifications**
- **Engineering school student in any IT, IS or Management field**:
- **Very good knowledge of English**, as well as good French, both written and spoken. Additional foreign languages are an advantage.
- **Good interpersonal skills**, ability to work with both technical IT teams and business contacts during the different project phases.
- **Structured mind, ability to synthesize, ability to communicate in a clear way.**:
- Good listening.
- Dynamic, curious mind.

All year long, Saint-Gobain group negotiate deals to divest or acquire businesses. There is an IT and IS part in almost every “M&A” deal.
The M&A IT Project Manager can intervene in the context of either a divestiture or an acquisition of a company.
The role of the M&A IT Project Manager is to coordinate the activity related to IT & IS carve-out or carve-in and collaborate strongly with all the IT community of Saint-Gobain: CTO, Cybersecurity, IT Services, ERP, Digital solutions, Data Analytics, and IT Business teams.
Depending on each project’s organization, the role may go from a broad IT Project Management role to a focused, specific responsibility. Success is measured by achieving the project objectives, striking the balance between compliance to cybersecurity policies and maintaining IT operational functionality for the divested or acquired company.
