As the VP, Global Partner Marketing at Mimecast, a leader in Cybersecurity, you will drive the strategy and execution of our global partner marketing efforts to accelerate revenue growth and expand our partner ecosystem.
Reporting to the VP of Integrated Marketing, you will lead a global partner marketing team and external resources to build, implement, and optimize end-to-end partner success. Your focus will be on creating an integrated go-to-market strategy in close partnership with Sales and Marketing teams, scaling operations efficiently, and driving measurable outcomes.
This role is pivotal in growing the Mimecast brand by strengthening our partner ecosystem, and aligning with enterprise sales to deliver on ambitious revenue targets.
What You'll Do:
- Drive Revenue Growth: Build and lead a partner ecosystem to generate pipeline, increase deal velocity, and grow deal size, achieving revenue targets through an integrated go-to-market strategy targeting cybersecurity leaders.
- Expand the Mimecast Brand: Grow the Mimecast brand story by identifying and onboarding target partners to expand the partner ecosystem, including channel partners, MSP’s, technical alliance partners, and global system integrators, leveraging co-marketing efforts and partner enablement programs.
- Partnering with Sales and Marketing: Craft an integrated go-to-market motions by partnering with Sales and Marketing teams to optimize co-selling motions, align initiatives, and execute a unified strategy for achieving measurable results.
- Operational Excellence: Implement disciplined, scalable operations, including budget management, MDF management and partner recruitment strategies, to ensure efficiency and long-term growth.
- Strategic Leadership: Act as the face of Mimecast’s partner opportunities by engaging with senior leadership at key partners to drive mutual success, while coordinating globally with Channel Account Managers and internal teams.
What You'll Bring:
- 10+ years of B-to-B marketing experience, ideally into all segments (SMB, Commercial, Enterprise)and in the cybersecurity space
- Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation and spoken formats to a variety of audiences
- Demonstrated strong listening, information gathering and empathy skills for uncovering and defining deliverables, needs and outcomes
- Team player with cross-functional project leadership skills and ability to manage agencies
- Demonstrated skills in aligning with product marketing to translate persona-based business pain into revenue-centric marketing campaigns
- Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
