Job Description SUMMIT Paris is seeking an Associate Vice President of Marketing to lead and execute the global brand and communications strategy. This role reports to the General Manager in Paris, leading and executing the launch and presentation of SUMMIT’s brand in France across owned, earned, and paid channels. With a results‑driven mindset, the ideal candidate will be part of a world‑class team, marketing a world‑class brand to drive key performance benchmarks, including brand awareness, audience growth, engagement, online traffic, and ultimately, ticket sales and revenue. In this role, they will also be responsible for gathering insights into the customers and prospects and ensuring the brand’s differentiation and relevance in this new market. Additionally, they are responsible for crafting cohesive and impactful brand strategies and effective brand voices across channels to drive engagement with diverse audience segments, desire, and conversion. Key Responsibilities Build and execute scalable, measurable marketing campaigns that drive awareness, preference, engagement, and revenue. Work closely with the General Manager to position and drive the strategic 5-year brand growth plan via the global positioning of SUMMIT. Collaborate with the onsite leadership and all agency partners to translate the SUMMIT brand into international markets via relevant brand positioning, content, communications, and channel strategies. Lead a team of marketers and content creators to distinguish and drive interest in SUMMIT, across owned, earned, and paid channels, including but not limited to OOH, website, email, social media, partnerships & PR. Own the roadmap for growth and expansion of the SUMMIT brand marketing ecosystem into new platforms and mediums to attract and engage local, domestic, and international audiences. Identify optimal strategic brand and marketing partnership opportunities to build cultural equity, cultivate the brand community, and produce unique, engaging content. Oversee and direct the marketing team in managing the brand and events calendar and content across evergreen, user-generated, influencer, celebrity, editorial, partnerships, and announcements. Work with creative resources to follow the SUMMIT brand book to ensure consistency in the brand presentation, assets, and tone of voice for all content across owned, earned, and paid channels. Lead a team of in‑house talent, agency partners, creatives, and producers to ensure smooth delivery and distribution of content in line with the production calendar, timing, and budgets. Work closely with the Director of Performance Marketing to measure and track content quality to drive significant growth, audience diversity, engagement, and revenue, translating data into actionable insights for the organization. Set and track team KPIs to ensure the SUMMIT strategy drives the goals of the overall business. Compile regular reports on campaign performance for the General Manager and other executive stakeholders. Work closely with research partners to develop and monitor brand segmentation research and campaign AB testing, using data to inform decision‑making. Track and reconcile the brand marketing budget in partnership with the finance team. Manage and mentor a high‑performing team to ensure goals and audience expectations are always exceeded. Requirements Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent. 10+ years managing brand strategy, developing creative projects and content across entertainment, sports, luxury retail/fashion, or similar. 3+ years of leadership experience; proven track record of building and leading a team across content creators, strategists, and marketing managers. Bilingual in French and English. A passionate, energetic, team‑oriented individual with interpersonal skills. Ability to gain insights from data and research and create clear, actionable briefs. Strategic thinking skills, ability to structure presentations, and ruthless prioritization and project management. Results‑oriented, with the ability to draw insights and provide business recommendations. Global experience is strongly preferred. Highly entrepreneurial, self‑starter, able to operate well under ambiguity. Demonstrated initiative, critical thinking, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to thrive and drive team success in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
