Overview: The EMEA MIS Cloud Systems Manager would be responsible of Fortinet Cloud based infrastructure, from day-to-day activities to design and proof-of-concept projects. This position requires a solid understanding of Fortinet Cloud based infrastructure, as well as working closely with the team members and cross-team members to organize, manage, operate and continued development of Fortinet OpenStack-based private cloud platform. As a senior member of the Management Information System team, you will drive a team delivering play a leading role in the operations, maintenance, and deployment Fortinet datacentres in EMEA region. An attention to detail is required to ensure that these services are delivered within budget, with a focus on revenue growth and continuous improvement - always be looking for improvement, automation, and optimization opportunities. Key Responsibilities: - Managing Fortinet OpenStack cloud infrastructure as a leader in the MIS Cloud team while maintaining a thorough understanding of current and emerging technologies. - Assisting in the development and deployment of new datacentres throughout the EMEA region, ensuring delivery across the "customer's" organization in order to meet operational KPIs. - Manages technical escalation by hosting conference calls, facilitating actions, and providing analysis and technical investigation of reported Fortinet Cloud environment problems. - Negotiate, document, and communicate a governance structure across cloud teams for cases such as deployments, developments, RFPs, and so on. - Delegate, assign tasks, and mentor teammates to ensure continued alignment with the MIS system team's objectives. - Encourage the ongoing process improvements of change management while paying close attention to security. - Participate in the strategic development of new projects to ensure that the cloud platform evolves to meet the needs of our "customers" (R&D teams), thereby driving the adoption of future technologies. Skills and Attributes Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in an engineering senior role. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience - Very good in OpenStack administration, server virtualization and Linux based systems - Good knowledge in datacentre administration, system operations, change management practices, and overall infrastructure environments. - Excellent ability to organize, collaborate, maintain performance under pressure to ensure effective decision making. - All positions require strong oral and written communication skills. All positions also require good knowledge of English (written and spoken) to provide full information as well as to document tasks, processes, areas of responsibility. Nice to have: - Operational excellence qualification (ITIL) or experience - Previous experience on Fortinet products is an advantage - Experience in Auditing and compliance practice
