C.H. Robinson is looking for the next **ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE** in **Lyon, France.**

As an Account Representative, you will play a crucial role in our success by developing and nurturing account relationships with key contacts at multiple levels within customer organizations. Your primary responsibility will be to identify opportunities to expand the business by showcasing C.H. Robinson's diverse portfolio of services.

This role will partner with operations and capacity resources as an active member of an account team to ensure the customer’s freight moves as planned and takes actions to resolve exceptions when they occur. This position is aligned to a portfolio of customers. As a critical customer support contact, you will resolves issues and drive exceptional service through continuous improvement process and initiatives.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- ** Develop Account Relationships**: You will build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their unique needs and delivering exceptional service. Identify opportunities to further expand our presence within existing accounts by presenting and selling our comprehensive range of services.
- ** Supply Chain Solutions**: Design and implement innovative solutions that address our customers' supply chain challenges and enhance their operational efficiency.
- ** Consult and Implement Solutions**: When issues arise, you will engage with customers to identify the best course of action, offering consultative advice, and implementing effective solutions, fostering long-term partnerships.
- ** Metrics Utilization**: Manage customer expectations by establishing and utilizing metrics to measure and communicate performance.
- ** Business Reviews and Meetings**: Collaborate with the team to create insightful business reviews and actively participate in or lead customer meetings.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Required**:

- Proficiency in French and English is essential for effective communication with our diverse customer base.
- Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in sales and/or account management, preferably in a multinational environment.

**Preferred**:

- Fluent in Spanish or German
- A proactive, energetic, and commercially driven approach to customer interactions.
- Thrive under deadlines, drive results, multi-task and work with a sense of urgency
- Are capable of working independently as well as collaboratively as a team
- Remain positive and flexible in an ever-changing environment with shifting priorities
- Are detail oriented with strong prioritization and multi-tasking skills
- Value a diverse and inclusive work environment
