Have you completed a specialized Master's degree in têxtile engineering? Are you passionate about outdoor sports? Do you enjoy contributing to the development of technical sportswear and/or sportstyle clothing? As a member of our **Apparel** team, your main goal will be to initiate the anticipation and development processes through to the material production stage." Directly reporting to the Global Material Manager, our future **Material developer W/M/O **will have from the garment design and targets to initiate the anticipation and development processes until the stage of production of the materials **Your mail missions**: **Development**: - Contribute to the creation of the product offer and to the satisfaction of the end customer by developing innovative, efficient and reliable materials while remaining at the forefront of technology - Define the solutions, the technical choices by controlling the innovation / risk-taking adequacy - Manage the selection of materials taking into account their performance, production locations and the price target while optimizing the number of materials - Ensure material booking for prototypes in collaboration with the purchasing team and Material soucing plateform (material selection file) - From the Design files and within defined timelines, check material conformity in regards of quality standards and design expectations. - Check the reliability and availability of technical files and required data for production - Be in phase with the brand's values, CSR approach and sustainability target in the development of materials - Lead meetings around fabric selection process and secure follow up with key stakeholders - Order fabric yardages for internal prototyping **Anticipation**: - Collaborate in the development of university partnerships - Follow up on technical têxtile innovation in the industry - Contribute to the development of the material library (library of têxtile materials) - Lead some specific anticipation project (advanced material development project) **Qualifications**: - ** Required experiences **:Minimum **5 years experience** on a similar position - ** Education : Master in Textile engineering**: - ** Languages**:English**; fluent - ** Specific skills **:Material technical knowledge, Material production and industrialization knowledge, Garment construction and production knowledge, - ** IT skills **:MS Office - ** Transversal skills**: ability to plan and organize, ability to animate, autonomy, ability to work at an international level Informations supplémentaires Permanent Contract, Full Time Job based in Annecy (74), FRANCE Ability to travel
