Reporting to the Deputy CEO, you will collaborate with the management team to develop the business plan, modeling optimal insurance and reinsurance structures, and providing capital support for strategic initiatives and projects.

The Head of Capital and Reserving will be expected to maintain good relations with all stakeholders, as well as with supervisory and regulatory authorities.

As such, your main missions are as follows:

- Fulfill requirements as an actuarial function
- Be responsible for our Solvency II compliance, including SFCR parameterization and regulatory reporting. You are responsible for communicating and explaining capital results to key stakeholders, including the Board.
- Challenge and validate ORSA capital projections ; contribute to capital studies for strategic and development initiatives
- Lead the capital planning process, including modeling optimal reinsurance structures and identifying opportunities for capital optimization.
- Lead the reserving process participating in the review of key economics and insurance assumptions
- Identify and map insurance and reinsurance risks through a good knowledge of the portfolio and the business and a good understanding of the underwriting strategy.
- Work closely with the pricing and risk management teams, as well as the finance teams.
- Maintain good relations and communication with the regulator
- Experience in capital modeling (10 years)
- Knowledge of modeling tools
- Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, and Power BI are an asset.
- Qualified actuary with relevant experience in an equivalent environment
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills,
