**Job description**:
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Tax Director - France, you will notably:
- M&A: conduct tax analysis and risk assessments for mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring projects.
- Tax Audits: assist in the management and follow-up of tax audits across all tax types (corporate income tax, VAT, local taxes, transfer pricing, etc.), with the opportunity to lead audits over time.
- Advisory: provide daily tax advice to internal stakeholders including accounting teams and CFOs on a wide range of French tax matters.
- Tax Watch & Knowledge Management: monitor developments in French and international tax law (doctrine, case law, etc.); act as the knowledge center for the team, sharing updates and ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory changes.
- Compliance: Support quarterly closings and ensure accurate and timely tax reporting.
**Education**:
- Master's degree in Tax Law; Accounting, Finance, Business School and / or a DSCG-type course is a plus.
**Skills & Specifications**:
Good knowledge of French tax law
Accounting knowledge
Excellent communication and adaptation to others
Analytical skills
Ability to work under strict deadline
**Work experience requirements**:
- 1-3 years max of working experience in the area of French Tax Law, ideally within a multinational company or a Big 4
**Languages**:
Fluent in French
Good command of English
