**Multimodal team leader**:

- Lieu: Paris 15,France- Type de contrat: CDI**Purpose of the position**:
Reporting directly to the Deputy Logistics Director and Head of Shipping at the Commercial Logistics Department in Paris, you are expected to have great role, part of large transportation and logistics activities, split by mode of transportation.

You will work closely with the Dry Bulk Chartering team and the other Departments within the Operations Division but also with Eramet main plants, suppliers and warehouses mainly located in Europe.

You provide mindset and training on new solutions or techniques to the team to improve opportunities to grow.

You help evaluate distribution and transportation operations to identify the most effective distribution and transportation patterns for Eramet products.

You will also be responsible for supervising all aspects of short sea shipment planning and execution, including calling off and confirming shipments to freight carriers.

**Responsibilities**:
In this context, you are in charge of:

- Regular reporting of all logistics-related cost
- Regular reporting of all shipping and operational details to follow up sales volume, revenue and save margins
- Interacts with Sales, Customer Service and Planning teams to forecast, schedule and negotiate transportation at best.
- Develop and cultivate relationships with EU main accounts that are in Eramet portfolio and logistics related industry
- Build deep industry knowledge and understanding of the changes in the industry trends to support sales
- Understand clients’ requirements and conduct risk assessment before proposing viable logistics solutions
- Conducts regular meetings with suppliers and customers to highlight performance issues and closure of incidents.
- Conduct day-to-day transport and logistics activities including negotiating contracts
- Give support to Eramet Dry Bulk Chartering team

**About you**:

- You have a Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain and/or a minimum of 10 years’ experience within the Mining Logistics function with exposure to Chartering and Sales desks.
- You have a keen interest in meeting people, understanding their culture and their way of working,
- Excellent negotiation skills
- You have a strong leadership and management skills
- You proven knowledge on the multimodal transportation logistic within All Europe, including a deep knowledge of the trucking supply market in Europe
- You have an extensive knowledge on the 20' container market and operation on the Atlantic region.
- You are able to work with data and to understand, process and compile information from different sources into reports/spreadsheets, which provide insights to the company, and which will assist the management in the decision-making process
- You are proactive by offering innovative solutions,
- You have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
