In addition, Lubrizol makes ingredients and additives for home care and personal care products and pharmaceuticals, and specialty materials, including plastics technology and performance coatings in the form of resins and additives. **Purpose of the function** Manages and coordinates all activities and functions necessary to implement and manage external manufacturing activities in assigned portfolio of tollers. This function must be closely aligned with operations, supply chain and various LZA and LZAM business objectives. Responsible to establish and to manage the assigned tolling network including assistance in supporting the business justification, monitoring of toller performance and problem resolution **Activities and main responsabilities**- Implement and monitor the strategy to select, launch, and execute ongoing third party Manuafcturing (3PM) relationships.- Initiate and discuss contracts according to Lubrizol Policies- Daily manage assigned contracts- Lead the management of identified supplier portfolios by contract & agreement in order to ensure HSEQ performance, product & service availability and obtain competitive advantage for Lubrizol.- Resolve issues related to quality, HSES, cost and supply chain logistics of custom manufactured materials in a constructive manner with internal and external stakeholders.- Manage data and processes within the ERP system to support procurement & finance reporting, auditing and SOX compliance- Improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of supply by guiding the supplier and internal functions (legal, finance, PTS, business process leader, master data, supply chain, compliance )- Suggest and implement Best Practices to drive custom manufacturing excellence- Participate to the Supplier Performance and business continuity capabilities- Adhere and promote compliance with company policies, practices and procedures.- Represent Lubrizol in a professional, legal and ethical manner; maintains integrity of LZ brand **Authority** On standard basis, the 3rd Party Manufacturing manager is authorized to propose 3PM initiative and present to 3PM Director for validation. Then he’ll select, engage and negotiate with external partner according to authority (duration/amount).
