**Job Summary**
- We are looking for an **Associate Relationship Manager in the Public Sector area** to join our team either in **Paris**or in **Frankfurt**.
- This is a maternity cover role, designed as a fixed-term contract (9 months).
- The **Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM)** supports senior bankers being the strategic advisors/value add partners to the Client, accountable for the overall client group revenues, profitability and risk acceptance (Anti Money Laundering, Client Due Diligence and Credit). The Banker is responsible for supporting establishing and maintaining an end to end understanding of the client group structure and client needs and steering the client relationship through the Account Planning process.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support origination and client relationship management for a portfolio of major public sector clients, with a primary focus on key markets in Western Europe (Austria, Italy, Spain and Switzerland)
- Focus on all products, across Transaction Banking, Financial Markets and Corporate Finance
- Support selectively onboarding new prospect clients
- Support maintaining a strong working relationship with key stakeholders, including IMO, Credit, Legal and Compliance and others
- Support the team head on origination and client engagement

**Skills and Experience**
- Bachelor degree in Banking or Finance preferred
- Preferably 5+ years experience in banking or other relevant environment in a relationship management or sales function covering Financial Institutions
- Expertise in the public sector clients
- Solid understanding of Bank’s product scope
- Business acumen combined with strong analytical skills
- Strong business origination skills
- Fluency in English is required, fluency in French or German will be considered an asset
