Within the Finance Department, the Risk Partnerships team is in charge of the Retrocession purchase to
protect the global SCOR exposures. Retrocession is an integral part of the underwriting strategy of SCOR
and ensures the protection of SCOR’s capital while providing underwriters with sufficient capacity.

**Description**

P&C Cat retrocession is by far the most important Retrocession program for SCOR given the important
protection it provides to the group.
Within the Retrocession department, you will be working on the Cat Quota-Share and Cat XL reporting and
analytics by improving and automating the data retrieving and calculation process. You might be also
solicited to help on other placements from time to time, following the needs of the team.

Under the supervision of the Cat account manager, your key responsibilities will be to:

- Automate data retrieving process from SCOR’s systems
- Support the retrocession data preparation, renewal package and various studies
- Control and validation of the contracts in the internal database
- Support in the Loss advices control and validation
- Help in the performance analysis for Cat QS and Cat XL
- Education: Student in Master’s degree with a keen interest in data analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is key (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Skills in Programming (SQL, VBA, Business Objects) and/or Tableau are a plus
- Knowledge in Reinsurance is a plus, as well as in Accounting for Insurance.
