European Distribution Manager Engineering Adhesives

**Your future responsibilities**:
Reporting directly to the EMEA Business Development Manager - Engineering Adhesives, you will be responsible for the Durable Goods BU in the EMEA region and will be in charge of managing all aspects of the commercial relationship with all customers in its territory.

You will work with the sales, marketing and technical teams to achieve your objectives.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Selecting and authorising new distributors
- Develop cooperative marketing programmes for key distribution partners.
- Understand customer needs and translate them into appropriate management and technical resources.
- Responsible for developing and implementing projects, setting priorities and coordinating resources to achieve objectives.
- Negotiate terms and execute supply contracts, which position Bostik for long-term strategic partnerships with customers, including: pricing, payment terms, incentive programs, growth commitments and delivery terms.
- Continuously monitor key account needs and communications for new projects.
- Managing distributors to develop sales
- Ability to understand Bostik product knowledge and relate it effectively for the benefit of the customer. (Product training and support to distributors is essential, both in groups and individually).
- Participate in cross-functional activities within other Bostik departments including production, quality, procurement, customer service, R&D, PLM and technical service.

**The profile we are looking for**:

- You have a 5-year degree in a technical field, preferably an MBA.
- You have at least 5 years' success in field sales and distribution.
- You have exceptional interpersonal, communication, listening, organisational and presentation skills.
- You have strong IT skills and the ability to work in a hands-on, autonomous environment, independently and as part of a team.
- You have the ability to travel 50-60% of the time (including regular overnight travel if required).

Given the Group's international dimension, you will have a good level of written and spoken English.
Fluency in German and Italian is an advantage.

The position will be based in Europe (France, Germany, Italy or Benelux).
