**THE ROLE**:
**You shall**:
Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations;
Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies;
Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**1. Claim follow-up**:
Collect the warranty claims issued by the vessels under warranty and check if they are in line with the design approved during the construction;
Issue Claim to the shipyard and follow up corrective actions in a timely manner;
Keep the Newbuilding director, Fleet director, Fleet Manager and vessel superintendent advised of problems which arise on managed ships, and solve them, including issues related to speed and consumption, operational performance;
Organize End of warranty meetings and conduct final negotiation under Newbuilding director supervision.

**2. Vessels under warranty feedbacks**:
Transfer all design (possible common) claims to sisterships and arrange a common warranty solution.

Provide feedbacks to NB department and participate in REX procedure.

3. Guarantee claims Engineer at yard

Coordinate with GC team to support discussion with the yards on claims resolution and attends meeting with yard to facilitate communication and claims solving process by the yards.

Coordinate with GC engineer to follow-up claims resolution for vessels that are out of their warranty period.

Be responsible for discussing improvements with the yard or design department to get some drawings updated and ensuring that the common issues are followed.

Report to the GC manager about the main topics and the follow-up of the claims.

Conduct the end of warranty meetings and supporting the final negotiation under Newbuilding Director and Warranty Claims Manager supervision.

**Note**: If necessary, a Manager Guarantee Claims Engineer should be nominated to coordinate and manage Engineer.

**PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
Competent with various software, such as word, excel, power point, etc.

Adequate knowledge of the vessel and vessel systems. Experience

**Experience as**:
Vessel superintendent or new building superintendent.

Engineer officer.

**Personal attributes**:
Analytical skills;
Rigor and method;
Effective verbal, written and presentation skills;
Ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment;
Demonstrated willingness to be flexible to change priorities;
Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills;
