Basically, we're revolutionizing how medications impact human health by deploying our 24 AI models analyzing the benefits and risks of molecules about specific pathologies, patient groups, and, in the coming years, individual patients, making personalized medicine possible at scale in clinical development and after.

**The Role: Business Developer**
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Business Developer will be instrumental in expanding ArcaScience's reach and establishing new revenue streams. You will focus on identifying, engaging, and securing new strategic accounts within major pharmaceutical and biotech organizations. Leveraging your expertise and our C-level support, you will forge new partnerships and drive the initial adoption of our groundbreaking AI technologies within regulatory affairs and market access teams.
You will be responsible for:
- **Identifying and cultivating new business opportunities** that directly translate to accelerating drug development and improving patient outcomes.
- **Strategic Market Penetration**: Proactively researching and targeting new pharmaceutical and biotech clients, creating robust pipelines for new partnerships.
- **Relationship Building**: Establishing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target organizations.
- **Solution Articulation**: Effectively presenting ArcaScience's AI solutions, from our standard platform offerings to custom study capabilities, demonstrating their value proposition to prospective clients.
- **Market Intelligence**: Gathering insights on market trends, competitive landscapes, and unmet needs to inform our business development strategy.
The position requires expertise in both identifying and initiating opportunities for transactional platform sales and consultative custom solution sales within the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
**The Ideal Profile We're Seeking Business Development Excellence**
- A minimum of three years of experience in business development, sales studies, insight/data, or technologies within a Clinical Research Organization, pharmaceutical, or biotech setting.
- Proficiency in consultative selling methodologies, including the Challenger Sales approach.
- Consistently exceeded new business development targets over the past two years.
- Proven ability to build and maintain separate pipelines for standard solutions and custom study opportunities.
- Demonstrate accurate forecasting across all potential revenue streams.
**Strategic Account Acumen**
- Proven ability to establish and initiate relationships with senior executives, researchers, and clinicians in the pharma and biotech sectors.
- Demonstrated significant success in identifying and securing new account revenue.
**Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and Life Sciences Industry Experience**
- Over three years of business development or sales experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, and life sciences sectors.
- Familiarity with regulatory affairs and market access teams is advantageous.
**Team Spirit and Collaborative Skills**
**International Background**
- Native or fluent English speaker, possessing exceptional communication skills for engaging with diverse clientele and stakeholders. Experience in the US is a plus.
- Demonstrates an open-minded approach to new challenges, ideas, and perspectives within the dynamic sales environment.
- Exhibits genuine cultural curiosity, enabling effective collaboration and understanding across international markets and diverse customer bases.
