Reporting to the Senior Manager of Filing Services, and as an integral part of Questel’s Filing Services Team, this role is responsible for patent filing operations by performing various administrative tasks and duties which include saving filed documents and translations, completing forms, and working with minor clients.

**Your main responsabilities**:

- Communicate with clients, vendors, outside counsel, and foreign agents
- Complete and double check patent filing forms
- Intake of new foreign filing orders
- Confirm filing data is accurate prior to filing
- Enter and confirm data in databases
- Prepare documents for foreign filing
- Review and monitor multiple reports daily
- Save and review documents to be and that have been foreign filed

You ideally have a first experience in the patent field or any combination of education, professional experience, and training provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

- Previous internship or work experience in fast-paced office setting
- Ability to handle multiple demands and handle delays or interruptions while maintaining accuracy and timeliness
- Ability to learn rapidly and adapt to quickly changing situations
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team
- Demonstrated initiative, persistence, ability to problem solve, and enthusiasm for learning
- Detail-oriented, organized, thorough, accurate, and able to work quickly and steadily in a focused manner
- Effective communication among team members
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Highly motivated and willing to take initiative and complete assignments
- Fluent in English - any additional second language, would be a plus (ideally German, French, Italian or Japanese)
