Eu Project Manager and Financial Lead

The ESC is currently looking for an **EU project manager and financial lead**for a permanent contract, CDI, as soon as possible to work at its headquarters in Sophia Antipolis, France. **Major duties and responsibilities**: Implement project management and financial tasks of the EU projects managed by ESC in order to meet the EU requirements and ensure compliance with the EU financial rules for a smooth implementation of the projects; plan the full EU projects budget to guarantee clarity and correct budget absorption and address issues, mitigate problems if any. In details: - Be responsible for the daily implementation of EU funded projects in order to meet the objectives of the work packaged led by ESC and to guarantee the full realisation of the tasks and EU obligations - Be responsible of the full EU projects budget planning to ensure compliance with EU procedures and rules and to guarantee that the budget is correctly managed and address issues, mitigate problems if any. - Draft the budget for the project proposals in order to guarantee that project proposals meet internal and external (EU) rules **Profile**: - Hard skills:_ - University degree in Project management, finance, buisness and administration - Minimum five years’ relevant work experiences - Experiences required in: - EU project planning and post-award management of H2020/EU funded projects - H2020 and Horizon Europe procedures - General accounting, cost controlling and financial reporting principles. - Experience in health sector is an asset - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. - Excellent computer skills (MS Office required, website, online conferencing tools). - Soft skills:_ - Strong organisational, project management and problem-solving skills. - Solution-oriented, critical thinking capacity, with excellent judgment and decision-making skills. - Diplomatic, with strong communication and engagement skills. - Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. - Ability to write concisely and persuasively. - Attention to details. - Be a dynamic pro-active team-player. - Willingness and ability to travel as required. **Application**: - A cover letter - A CV - Your availability (notice period, relocation, work permit...) - Your salary expectations (gross / year) **Conditions**: - Executive status, - “Forfait jour” (215 days/year) - Fixed salary + 13th month and vacation bonus (1%) - Lunch vouchers - Possibility of teleworking up to 3 days a week, after two months' integration at ESC + fixed daily allowance - “Compte épargne temps” - Employee savings scheme: PERCO - CSE benefits **Who we are**: The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) is a leading non-profit organisation representing more than 100,000 cardiology professionals from around the world.
