**Primary Responsibilities And Duties**

The Communications Intern will play a crucial role in helping us maximize the value of the content we publish by:

- Working closely with our communications team to reformat, publish, and optimize articles for various platforms, ensuring they align with style and branding guidelines,
- Posting and managing articles on WordPress websites and other social media platforms
- Assisting with other communications-related tasks as needed.

**Experience**
- Previous internship experience in communications is a plus.

**Competencies**
- Be a team player, who is upbeat and excited about taking on new challenges,
- Be very detailed oriented,
- Know (or is willing to learn):

- how to create social media analytic reports,
- the Adobe suite of design programs, notably InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator,
- WordPress and how to upload content onto our websites,
- The Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Be English literate to a professional business level,
- Have a positive outlook and friendly demeanor.

**Qualifications**

Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
