**The Role**

As the **General Manager**, you will be at the heart of the organization's strategy and development. You will be responsible for defining and executing a long-term vision, overseeing internal teams, and ensuring smooth communication with external stakeholders.

**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- ** Setting and implementing the organization’s global strategy**, in close collaboration with the board of directors and executive teams
- ** Building strategic partnerships**, especially to support our growth and impact goals
- ** Overseeing day-to-day operations**, directly managing an experienced team
- ** Leading proactive fundraising efforts**, working with investors, donors, and institutional partners
- ** Representing the organization** at international events, in the media, and at public forums
- ** Developing a positive and motivating work culture**, ensuring talent retention and team development
- ** Monitoring and evaluating the impact of our initiatives** to ensure tangible outcomes in climate and environmental transitions

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- ** Experience**: Minimum 15 years in a leadership role, ideally in finance, sustainability, or non-profit sectors
- ** Deep expertise in sustainable finance**, with a strong network in the sector
- Proven ability to **define and execute long-term strategies**:

- A **natural leader** with team management skills, capable of inspiring and motivating in a fast-evolving environment
- Excellent **relationship management skills** with financial partners and institutions
- ** Outstanding communication skills**, both written and verbal, in French and English
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to **work independently**:

- Significant **international experience**, with a proven capacity to represent an organization on a global scale

**Desired Skills**:

- Experience working in **non-profit organizations** or think tanks
- Ability to **manage organizational changes** and lead restructurings when necessary
- Academic background or experience in **research** is a plus
