Internship - Financial Control

LCH SA is a clearing house for securities and derivatives traded mainly on Euronext, Eurozone sovereign debt and CDS contracts. For each transaction, LCH SA acts as a central counterparty between buyer and seller. We offer each of our members the assurance of being settled or delivered and settling a net position (buy - sell) on the market. The company is authorized and supervised by the AMF, ACPR, ECB, SEC and CFTC.

Role summary:
For its Finance department, London Clearing House SA (LCH), a member of the Post Trade Division of the London Stock Exchange (LSEG), is looking for an intern for a period of six months from 1st January 2025 to June 30th 2025.

The objective of this internship is to provide operational assistance to the Finance department of LCH SA

Within the Reporting, Operations and Control department, you will contribute to the development and animation of the team under the direct supervision of the department manager.

Your main areas of intervention will be (non-exhaustive list):
1. Project Management:

- Participation to the various ongoing Finance projects:

- Project scoping
- Workshops animation
- Formalization of results
- Production of supports
- Participation and monitoring of project governance

2. Operational controls:

- Follow-up on operational controls
- Assistance in monitoring risk indicators
- Assistance in the assessment of inherent and residual risks

3. Accounting close:

- Participation in the monthly accounting close

4. Treasury:

- Daily monitoring of cash flows from bank accounts

5. Regulatory production:

- Participation in the monthly regulatory closing
