**We are looking for**
- A Business Development Manager to join Solvay's Silica Business Unit Strategic Marketing team

**We count on you to**
- Marketing
- Coordination and improvement of our market intelligence practices
- Structure, analyze, and deliver competitive landscape analysis
- Lead market trend monitoring in close interaction with the commercial, and the Research & Innovation teams
- Implement new tools/methods to improve the market intelligence practice
- Development and update of the short and midterm market demand forecasts (market demand modeling, detailed analysis of customer publications, interaction with key stakeholders to forecast emerging trends and market pull dynamics)
- Support the Product and Asset Management function to implement internal processes (pricing toolbox, contracting guidelines, forward costing, et al)
- Lead internal profitability analysis in coordination with Finance, Business, Industrial, and Product and Asset Management
- Manage the operational marketing activity including the communication plan for our key markets (promotional events, trade shows, GBU key presentations, value proposition for Sales teams, et al)
- Development
- Evaluate business opportunities in coordination with Commercial, Industrial, and R&I teams to develop and support the prioritization of business cases.
- Support identification and screening of new circular feedstocks (trend monitoring, identification of relevant feedstock, contact with potential partners, et al)
- Midterm roadmap
- Contribute actively to the development and deployment of the GBU Value Creation Plan

**You will bring**
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing, Business, or Engineering. Prior experience as a Business Analyst experience is a plus

Technical skills
- Fluency in English is mandatory. French is a plus
