We are currently looking for a permanent position of **Health and Safety Director **for our location Obernai (France) or Blieskastel (Germany).

**Mission**:

- Define the Health & Safety strategy and deploy through consistent roadmap and governance
- Provide Health & Satefy expertise to H&S community worldwide
- Foster and promote Health and Safety mindset to engage all employees
- Define and implement H&S group standards, process and tools to monitor performance (leading & lagging KPIs)
- Lead and develop H&S teams
- Empower and support leadership team to improve H&S behaviour & mindset
- Lead deployment of global H&S programs such as trainings, audits, surveys...
- Leverage new innovative ideas to improve safety at work, identify best practices and drive continuous improvement
- Partner with site teams to provide up and down coaching and expertise on the Health and Safety strategy via regular site visits and remote meetings to help the teams understand the current status, identify gaps and align on actions and next steps
- In addition to operational and strategical facts, you will ensure the connection between Corporate Social Responsibility, Occupational Health and Human Resources.

**Profile**:

- Minimum 10 - 15 years of working experience, especially in Occupational Health & Safety on an international scale and strong leadership skills in a manufacturing environment (Lean Management experience nice to have)
- Master´s Degree in Engineering, Science or in a related field as well as advanced training in HS (NEBOSH equivalent)
- Incumbent needs to be able to drive strategic mindset and to work “hand’s on” and driving change will be key
- Experience in developing strategies and in deploying Health & Safety programs, leading global projects
- Experience in management systems implementation (OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001, CSRD)
- Impactful communication, able to influence and advice key stakeholders
- English is a must, German or French is a plus,
- Travel will be required for this role across our different locations
