**Position Overview**

As the Global Procurement Business Partner, Clinical and Medical you will be responsible for a multi-million clinical trials spend related to Clinical and Medical Services (Clinical Full Services Outsourcing & Functional Service Provision such as Data Management, Biostatistics, Medical Imaging, Medical Writing, Electronic Data Capture, IRT, ePRO, eCOA ).

Additionally, you will contribute to the strategic development of Ipsen’s portfolio and will ensure robust delivery through clear and measurable benefits.

**Responsibilities**:

- Partner with the business to gain visibility on the Clinical Development Plan and R&D/Medical trials portfolio.
- Drive, execute and implement the procurement process and strategies for Clinical and Medical initiatives according to the global procurement policy and procurement best practice
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and lead negotiation efforts to obtain best value prices, terms, and optimized lead-times for individual Clinical Trails and Clinical Trial Programs
- Be accountable for building & delivering a savings pipeline for the assigned categories
- Support and provide input into Category strategy development in the Clinical and Medical supply markets
- Build robust partnerships with strategic vendors.

**Requirements**:

- B.S./B.A + at least 5 years of Procurement/Industry experience
- MBA preferred
- Experience in the Outsourcing of Clinical Development; Phase 1 through 4 Clinical trails
- Experience in negotiation in cross functional teams based in multiple geographies
- Assertive and Persuasive: Demonstrate healthy and productive influencing ability. Gain the respect and confidence of stakeholders. Build constructive and effective relations.
- Drive for continuous improvement: Align continuous improvement with the strategic objectives of the organization; drives process excellence.
- Project management skills
