Christian Dior Couture is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Human Resources to lead the HR function for its Fine Jewellery and Timepiece division. Reporting to the Deputy Managing Director, HR & Sustainable Development (with a dotted line to the BU Lead), this role will be a key member of the division’s leadership team and will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with the business objectives of the division. The VP HR will lead all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and HR operations, for a diverse workforce of over 500 employees across corporate headquarter and four manufacturing sites located in Paris, Lyon and La Chaux-de-Fonds.
The scope is Global, taking into account the coordination of the Fine Jewellery and Timepiece Retail Community in Boutiques
**Job responsibilities**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Strategic HR Leadership**:
- Serve as a strategic business partner to the BU Lead of the Fine Jewellery and Timepiece division and the leadership team, providing expert HR guidance and insights to support business decisions.
- Develop and implement an HR strategy that aligns with the division's overall strategic goals, focusing on attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
**Talent Acquisition & Onboarding**:
- Ensure a consistent and effective onboarding experience for new hires, integrating them into the Dior culture and values.
**Talent Management & Development**:
- Lead talent management initiatives, including performance management, succession planning to secure our organizations, and leadership development programs, to ensure a pipeline of future leaders.
- Identify and address skill gaps within the organization, developing and implementing training and development programs to enhance employee capabilities.
**Employee Relations & Engagement**:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance and support on employee relations issues.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering open communication and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
**Compensation & Benefits**:
- In partnership with the VP, Compensation, oversee the design and administration of compensation and benefits programs that are competitive, equitable, and aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct regular market analysis to ensure that compensation and benefits packages remain competitive.
**HR Operations & Compliance**:
- Ensure the efficient and effective administration of HR programs and processes, including payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management.
- Oversee HR compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including labor laws, immigration laws, and data privacy regulations.
**Manufacturing HR Expertise**:
- Develop a deep understanding of the unique HR needs and challenges within a manufacturing environment, particularly in the context of fine jewellery and timepiece production.
- Partner with manufacturing site leaders to implement HR programs and initiatives that support operational excellence and employee engagement.
**French Social and employee representatives Management**:
- Bring support to local HR teams and GM in social dialogue and negotiations with employee representatives (Works Council/Comité Social et Économique - CSE).
- Develop and maintain positive and constructive relationships with employee representatives, fostering open communication and mutual respect.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of French labor law, regulations, and collective agreements, ensuring full compliance across all HR practices.
**Team Leadership & Development**:
- Lead and develop a high-performing HR team (around 10 Talents including 4 direct reports), providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities.
**FJ&T retail communities**:
Global HR support, specifically on FJ&T Ambassadors network
**Profile**:
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Extensive experience in all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and HR operations.
- Experience working in a multi-site organization, with exposure to both corporate and manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of French labor laws and regulations.
