Chief of Staff

From our headquarters in Paris to our hubs in Berlin, Amsterdam, New York, Dusseldorf, Antwerp and Los Angeles, we’re working tirelessly to reshape transportation.

As Chief of Staff, you’ll help **drive strategic priorities, oversee special projects, and support the founders** in their daily operations, enabling them to focus on growing the company and delivering our vision.

**What you will do**:
Based in Paris, you’ll act as a trusted partner to the founders, ensuring strategic priorities are identified, communicated, and executed effectively.
- Work closely with the founders to define and execute strategic priorities.
- Drive execution of critical initiatives by monitoring progress, resolving blockers, and ensuring delivery of impactful outcomes.
- Prepare materials for investor updates, board meetings, internal meetings and strategic reviews to ensure effective communication of business objectives and performance.
- Support hiring efforts by managing recruitment campaigns, overseeing onboarding strategies, and helping Upway attract and retain top talent.
- Represent the founders in key internal and external meetings, driving follow-up and alignment across teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve organizational efficiency and maintain a strong company culture.

**What you will bring**:

- 5+ years of experience in strategic or operational roles, such as consulting, project management, or Chief of Staff positions, ideally in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and adapt to rapidly changing needs.
- Ability to create visually stunning presentations, translating complex data and ideas into clear and compelling visuals
- Exceptional communication skills in both French and English, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a strong focus on execution and delivering results.
- High emotional intelligence, with a collaborative approach and genuine care for building a positive team culture.
- A passion for sustainability, mobility, and working on meaningful projects that have a tangible impact on the world.

**Team, Remote and Compensation Policy**:

At this position, you would work directly with the co-founders and the leadership team. The position is based in Paris, but might require travel (up to 25% of the time).
