Your role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to join our global marketing team, focusing on activities in France and Switzerland. Based in Paris, this role will support our marketing efforts there and potentially expand to other countries in line with our business growth. The primary objective is to support the PayByPhone Commercial strategy, manage the budget, and lead marketing activities in those markets. Key goals include acquiring new business and driving adoption and usage of PayByPhone through engaging consumer campaigns at both national and local levels.
What you'll be doing
- Collaborate with the Commercial Sales and Client Success teams to develop and implement comprehensive annual and quarterly region-specific B2A and B2C marketing strategies that:
- Align with regional and global commercial objectives to drive brand awareness, client and consumer adoption, and transaction growth.
- Ensure integration with overall business objectives and adherence to quarterly budget constraints.
- Deliver measurable ROI and meet agreed Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) targets.
- Focus on key areas, including top revenue-generating clients, client groups (multi-city), CSR initiatives, and independent campaigns.
- Support the Product Team by developing local go-to-market campaigns for new products and feature launches.
- Assist the B2B team in developing and deploying regional B2B campaigns, leveraging opportunities and collaborations with other stakeholder groups and partnerships.
- Produce consistent, high quality client presentations, corporate and internal presentations
- Create and execute annual marketing strategy for the French and Swiss markets leading our marketing campaigns evaluating our marketing performance metrics, with assigned quarterly budget.
- Organize and coordinate national fairs and local events, including street marketing initiatives, to enhance brand visibility and engage with target audiences.
- Work closely with the Digital Manager to develop and execute digital campaigns.
- Work with Design Team to drive brand consistency across all consumer and client assets and actively align with global brand guidelines.
- Utilize Salesforce to track, analyze, and optimize marketing campaigns, ensuring effective management of customer relationships and data-driven decision-making.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships for B2C coverage, adoption and usage
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- 5+ years in a Marketing role. 2+ years' experience using all major digital and social media channels
- Proven experience in managing and prioritizing multiple activities and projects.
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively with internal cross-functional teams, both regionally and globally
- Experience and understanding of marketing tools and analytics technologies associated with the role. (for example, digital campaign tracking)
- Experience and understanding of digital marketing and social media management tools
- Understanding and experience of various marketing channels: Social, Paid and Earnt, PR, events and OOH.
- Experience working with Salesforce, Looker, Airship, Amplitude (or equivalents)

- Work collaboratively within a global team of marketing managers, digital and design experts
- Maintaining good client relationships both directly with clients and through the Account Management team
- Operational campaign planning experience against commercial objectives
Communication
- Fluency in English and French (reading, writing and speaking) is essential. German is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate and manage multiple core marketing team members and prioritize activity
- Highly collaborative with internal and external stakeholders including partners, vendors and global teams
Problem Solving/Decision Making
- Ability to proactively tackle adoption challenges specific to each client/client group/hub and analyze performance and continually iterate.
- Proactively work with and understand local client challenges and iterate on solutions

- Establish the marketing strategy and tactics to be adopted to achieve awareness, acquisition or retention objectives
- Owns the implementation and operational management of marketing campaigns and individuals responsible for specific outputs.
- Plan and monitor the budget to control expenditure, justify its use and anticipate future needs.
