**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
CFM is seeking a Head of Intermediary and Platform Distribution to develop and lead the growth of intermediated distribution in the Americas, reporting to the Head of North America. The aim of the role is to expand CFM distribution reach into the wealth channel in the Americas including with wire houses, broker-dealers, private banks, RIAs, asset managers and family office networks.
The role is based in our New York office
Base salary 225 - 275 K USD + Variable compensation + competitive benefits package
**RESPONSIBILITES**:
- You will develop and manage our business strategy for intermediaries and platforms with a focus on being a differentiated partner in our approach and gaining acceptance of systematic strategies
- You will serve as the key relationship manager for intermediary wealth solutions providers and platforms.
- You will guide the onboarding process for various strategies with the operations, legal and compliance teams
- You will ensure that the intermediary distribution team is equipped to deliver best in class client engagement at every level of the sales and service process
- You are expected to understand and represent the market for different intermediary client types, including sizing, needs, competition, regulatory environment and more, including various fintech / asset aggregator platforms
- You will oversee product development and the distribution of products targeted to the wealth channel including 40Act funds, sub-advisory and separate managed accounts
- You are expected to recommend and implement use of relevant RIA and intermediary databases for targeting strategy, including effective use of data and analytics
- You will guide the development of effective marketing materials and digital solutions to support asset raising from the wealth management channel
- You will draw up the annual planning process, including gaining support of all internal firm stakeholders for budgets, strategy and planning.
**SKILLSET REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS**:
- You have 10+ years of investment sales and/or specialist experience; including working with the largest Intermediary clients across all channels.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree
- You have strong, demonstrated sales and client relationship management skills
- You have deep contacts within the US Intermediary market with a network to grow relationships in Canada and Latin America
- You have extensive knowledge of the asset management industry, trends, as well as a broad range of complex investment products and solutions
- You have excellent client-facing and business management skills
- You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- You have strong interpersonal and relationship building skills necessary to communicate and build trust with a variety of internal and external clients and prospects
